What began as a whispered conversation between two mothers has grown into something extraordinary. Angela Shermanopoulos and Jen Finocchiaro, both yearning for deeper connection with Christ, answered a call that wouldn't be silenced. This wasn't just an idea or another program to launch. It was a divine invitation to create a sacred space where women could find their way back to wholeness.

The Women Behind the Ministry
Angela Shermanopoulos brings a servant's heart seasoned by years of faithful service. As a Greek Orthodox Christian, wife, and mother to a five-year-old son, she has poured herself into growing her church community through Parish Council leadership and launching ministries like "Love Thy Neighbor," which serves those facing food insecurity and supports foster children. With over 20 years in
corporate America as an executive, she built and led teams through actionable strategies and measurable results. Now she brings these proven methods to the Holy Refinery, creating something unprecedented in faith-based transformation: a program with habit training, progress tracking, and tangible outcomes. Her gift for analytical thinking creates a steady foundation for this transformative work.

Jen Finocchiaro carries a creative flame that brings warmth and wonder to this ministry. As a Roman Catholic wife and mother of twin teenage daughters, author, artist, and interior designer, whether in homes or hearts, she knows how to create spaces where beauty and purpose align. With years of experience in design and marketing, she brings both creative vision and business acumen to the Holy Refinery. Her deep faith journey includes teaching, sponsoring confirmations, and walking alongside countless others as they discover or return to Christ. Through years of personal growth work, she discovered her deepest transformation came when God was at the center. This revelation planted the seed that would become the Holy Refinery.

Where Angela brings business wisdom, Jen brings creative vision. Where one offers analytical strength, the other offers artistic insight. Both bring structure in their own unique ways, creating a beautiful balance that makes the Holy Refinery both practical and inspiring. As wives and mothers who prioritize faith-centered families, they understand that transformation begins at home. Now they're called to extend that same intentional growth beyond their own households, helping other women and families experience the restoration that comes from putting God at the center. Together, they started a women's group a year ago that has evolved into this transformative curriculum. Jen's twin daughters eagerly await the teen course (coming soon!), and their vision extends to serving men, teens, and all Christians seeking restoration.
